Data Mining Challenge Before Scribe
NANI Corporate would like to leverage and mine the data collected within their EMRs to be able to extract meaningful data. The physicians and staff previously were rushed and not always able to consistently input needed information into the EMR for each patient encounter. This has led to a large percentage of lost and un-mineable data that has limited NANI’s reporting abilities.
Data Mining Challenge With Scribe
By utilizing Scribe’s technologies, patient data can now be captured and presented consistently within each patient encounter. NANI can now leverage Scribe Data Mining tools to mine additional information that will help better forecast and navigate their growing practice.
Findings
NANI’s original goal to gain ”A cost-effective and efficient solution/service to accurately generate ’value-driven’ patient encounter documentation” has been realized along with other benefits, presenting a very strong case for the continued utilization of ScribeMobile and Scribe Charting services throughout the entire NANI network.
The time savings of over 10 hours per doctor, each month should allow for more patient visits. If each doctor sees as few as 2 new patients each month, the cost of Scribe’s services would be covered and give NANI the potential of creating new revenue and growth.
