Overview of Scribe’s Privacy Policy
Scribe Solutions, Inc. (“Scribe”) recognizes that maintaining the privacy of your personal information is important. Below, we explain how we may collect such personal information, what we do with it, and how we protect it.

Revisions to Privacy Policy
From time to time, Scribe may need to change this privacy policy because of changes in its business, or in its attempts to serve your needs better. We will use every effort to timely communicate any changes to this privacy policy in the manner described in the Scribe Terms of Use.

What Information Does Scribe Gather?
Several areas of our site are private and will require that you register. In addition, you will need to provide certain information to obtain our Services, or to complete transactions initiated by you that may be available through Scribe. If you choose not to provide such information, we may not be able to provide those Services or to complete transactions.

Information Gathered During Registration
To access the private areas of our site you must enter: Your name, email address, job function and/or password. You may be required to provide additional information to obtain our Services, or to complete transactions initiated by you.

Information Gathered Through Traffic Monitoring
Like many other websites, Scribe is equipped with a program that monitors traffic by automatically recording every visitor’s host and/or IP address. This program tracks the number of times the site is hit, how many visitors come to the site, and which parts of the site they frequent. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site, other than in connection with the testing and improvement of our services.

What About Cookies?
When a user accepts a cookie, a small text file is created on their computer’s hard drive that gives them a unique, random ID. This ID enables the website to readily recognize each visitor on a subsequent visit to the site. For example, a cookie may indicate the preferences selected by a visitor on a prior visit and facilitate more efficient browsing on subsequent visits. Scribe relies on cookies in this fashion.

How Will Scribe Use This Information?
Listed below are some of the ways in which your information may be used:

  • To improve Scribe’s products and services
  • To customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual visitor
  • To notify visitors about updates, new products or special offers from Scribe or our suppliers and partners

  • To ask for your participation in brief surveys
  • To generate aggregate statistical studies
  • To complete the provision of services or any other transactions you may do at the site (which will include providing your information to the relevant supplier so that they can complete your service request or transaction)

What We Will Not Use The Information For
We respect your privacy! Any and all of your personally identifiable information collected at this site by Scribe will be kept confidential and will not be: sold, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed, except as stated above or as otherwise required by law.
